With the introduction of the Quality Stables Two-Year-Old’s Auction Race, the Wolvega International Yearling Sale offers its buyers even more perspective.

We have a sponsor, Kwaliteit Stables (Ferry Hoogeveen) who sponsors € 10,000. A great gesture! In addition, WIYS deposits € 100 for each horse listed in the catalogue. That is a total investment of € 9,000.

The buyer of a yearling at our auction will therefore have no costs this year. Next year there will be 2 contribution rounds to be paid by the owner. €100 on resp. February 1 and April 1, 2025. These funds, together with the starting fees at the time of declaration in autumn 2025, will ultimately result in a prize pool of approximately 30,000.

This means that two divisions (one for colts and geldings and one for mares) will be held at the end of 2025. Each with an endowment of € 15,000. A great incentive for every buyer who buys one or more yearlings this year!
